Today, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the leadership of the Eastern Committee of the German economy held a video meeting where they discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation. Among the key issues discussed was the project of the company "UMAX Trade" aimed at the renovation of water resources in Turkmenistan. In this context, the parties considered the proposals of "UMAX Trade" and the positions of the relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
In the debate on the current state and prospects of development of mutually beneficial cooperation, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German economy Oliver Hermes reviewed the "Overall assessment of the German economy, bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan, and the situation in the world as a pandemic". The review identified the key areas of interaction between our country and the possible impact of objective situations related to a new type of virus pandemic on the implementation of previously reached agreements.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to comprehensively intensify bilateral cooperation, in particular, a proposal was made to hold the seventh day of the German economy in Turkmenistan in 2021, the foreign Ministry of our country reports.
