"Turkmen Senet" economic society was the first in Turkmenistan to master the production of non-woven material of a new generation-spun bond.
In the industrial zone of etrap Ak Bugday, entrepreneurs built and launched a plant with a capacity of about 2.5 thousand tons of this unique material per year, the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reports. The company was created as part of the import substitution program as a highly efficient, environmentally friendly production that meets the high requirements for new production facilities.
The plant uses fiber-forming polymers, such as polypropylene, produced at the Turkmenbashi TCOR and Kiyanly polymer plant, as raw materials for non-woven fabrics. It is the polymer raw material produced here that provides the densest distribution of fibers in the canvas, which are connected to each other in a special way, without using the weaving method. Non-woven spun bond material is obtained from the melt of polymer granules by a die method at a plant purchased in China.
The company has already produced more than 250 tons of spun bond in the form of rolls of various widths and colors. The range includes non-woven materials of various density, strength and purpose: from the thinnest – 0.30 grams per square meter – to 100 grams per square meter.
Innovative products of ES "Turkmen Senet" have already been recognized by specialists. The main state service of Turkmenistan "Türkmenstandartlary" issued a certificate of compliance to the Business company, and at the exhibition of achievements of private manufacturers held at the Expo center of the chamber of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan "Turkmen Senet" became a winner and was awarded a diploma of the third degree.
Currently, the main customer of the new products is the “Saglyk” enterprise of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan. Here from spun bond mastered the production of disposable medical coats, protective masks, Shoe covers, disposable sets for operating rooms.
Manufacturers plan to cooperate with many other companies and industries. For example, to provide trains with disposable sheets, pillowcases, make head restraints for Airliners, tablecloths for catering companies. The material is inexpensive and can be produced in large volumes. Recently, the company launched an automated line for the production of eco-packages for packaging products at retail enterprises.
A sewing workshop was opened in ES, where disposable clothing, cases, bags, accessories and packaging materials and other products are manufactured. In the future, it is planned to open such workshops in Ashgabat and in velayat centers. Entrepreneurs have already exported the new fabric to Turkey, China, and Russia, and there are applications from Central Asian countries.
In the near future, entrepreneurs plan to master the production of melt blown-a material consisting of polypropylene fibers with a thickness from 0.01 to 0.2 dtex, which has very high absorption properties, which allows composite materials based on it to not pass through biologically active liquids, fats, and chemicals. Non-woven materials of a new generation with unique properties win the trust of many manufacturers. They successfully replace expensive textile products and are used in almost every sphere of human life.
