The President of Kyrgyzstan ordered to strengthen quarantine and epidemiological control in the context of the pandemic

Every day, new cases of pandemic infection are detected among truck drivers who bring cargo from abroad. This was stated by Deputy head of the government of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov at a meeting with President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to discuss the epidemiological situation of the country, the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the most difficult situation remains in Naryn, where an additional group of specialists was sent from Bishkek to provide medical assistance. Boronov stressed that the majority of new cases of infection were detected among citizens arriving from abroad.

Thus, among 500 people who recently arrived from Sol-Iletsk (Russia), about 100 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected so far. At the same time, a large number of violations are observed among citizens placed in quarantine, the Deputy Prime Minister added.

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted the need to strengthen anti-epidemic measures to prevent further spread of coronavirus infection in the country, drawing attention to the strengthening of control over compliance with quarantine and epidemiological rules for persons under medical supervision and in home quarantine.

The head of state once again stressed the personal responsibility of citizens for the safety of their health, compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, including the mask regime in public places. It is also necessary to strengthen control over the implementation of the necessary requirements by enterprises that resume their activities, the President ordered.
