The largest domestic manufacturer of finishing materials, IE "Ak-hunji", has mastered the production of sheet plastic from polypropylene, the raw material for which is the production of gas-chemical complex for the production of polymers in the Balkan velayat, the website "Turkmenistan: Golden age" reports.
Test batches of the new material were produced on new equipment using the extrusion method. Upon completion of commissioning, the company will produce about two tons of polypropylene sheet daily, which has a wide range of applications. It is used in the construction of swimming pools, as a lining material, in ventilation systems, for the manufacture of laboratory equipment and food containers. The material has good chemical resistance and can be used for storing and transporting acids.
IE "Ak-hunji", founded in 2009, specializes in the production of decorative profiles and sandwich panels. The production range includes more than 200 types of architectural elements.
The European Bank for reconstruction and development in April this year granted the company a loan of 1.8 million us dollars for the implementation of a business project for the construction of a new workshop and the purchase of an automated line of Italian production for the production of extruded polystyrene products.
