At the intersection of Atamyrat Niyazov and Hoja Akhmet Yasavi streets, not far from the international airport of Ashgabat, the construction of the fashionable “Garagum” hotel continues.
An unusual shape and decoration of the building, which organically combines modern trends in urban planning and traditions of national architecture, will decorate the North-Eastern part of the city. The construction of this facility is carried out by the Turkish company "Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A. Ş.".
According to its name, the hotel building will embody the architectural image of “Garagum” — one of the unique natural attractions of Turkmenistan. The smooth contours of the Central part of the building with Golden glazing and two side buildings resemble sand waves that cover the surrounding area in a semicircle, which will resemble a blooming oasis. A Yurt, which organically complements the architectural ensemble, will emphasize the national flavor. The hotel, whose style and design, including the Golden color of the glass, correspond to its name, is intended to become a visible symbol of the traditions of hospitality that the Turkmen people have been famous for since ancient times.
The complexity of the object, which will be located on an area of 6.9 hectares and will combine the functions of a fashionable hotel and business center, allows designers to fully implement the idea of creating an expressive and memorable image. The 9-storey building will accommodate 87 rooms, of which 17 are standard, 8 are suites, 47 are suites, and 15 are super — suites. A fountain complex will be created on the territory of the hotel, sports and children's playgrounds, an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, and a Parking lot will be provided. The project also provides a shopping center, a restaurant with 150 seats, a hall for celebrations with 500 seats, and beauty salons.
