President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed over military service files of his grandfather, valiant warrior and talented teacher Berdimuhamed Annayev to Berdimuhamed Annayev military school no. 1 of the Ministry of Defence, the State news agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Having volunteered for the front, he fought bravely in the 748th Riffle Regiment, 206th Riffle Division, the 2nd Ukrainian Front. In June 2018, by the order of President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Berdimuhamed Annayev, grandfather of Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was posthumously awarded with high state award of Russian Federation, the Medal of Courage, for personal bravery and courage demonstrated defending the Motherland and serving his military duty during the Great Patriotic War.
It is worth mentioning that on May 9, when the 75th anniversary of Victory in the most cruel and blood shed war of the XX century has been ceremonially observed, the delegation led by Deputy Defence Minister of Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Fomin has come to our country with honoured mission to hand over Combat banner of the 748th Riffle Regiment, 206th Riffle Division.
In the time of peace, Berdimuhamed Annayev continued teaching, having left good memory among his countrymen. He was awarded with the highest state award, the Order of the Badge of Honour, which he have not received as he was killed in terrifying earthquake of 1948.
Military personnel – participants of current event, has lined up at the square next to the central entrance to Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized military school No.1 awaiting for the Head of Turkmenistan. Vehicle of the Head of the State has come to the place of the ceremony.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov reported to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country on readiness to receive military service documents of Berdimuhamed Annayev.
After, the President of Turkmenistan has entered the building where he put basket of flowers to the podium with sculpture of Berdimuhamed Annayev, his grandfather.
Heads of military and law enforcement agencies have paid tribute to the memory of the glorious son of Turkmen nation, patriot warrior Berdimuhamed Annayev, after which Specialized school no. 1 has been named.
The culmination moment came and the President officially handed over military service documents of his grandfather, Corporal Berdimuhamed Annayev to Specialized military school No. 1.
After handover ceremony of the documents, which reflect combat carrier of Corporal Berdimuhamed Annayev, who went to the front as a volunteer and bravely fought at the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War, the Head of Turkmenistan visited auditorium of the school where he gave precious fatherly advices to the cadets.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that dedication to patriotic oath have to be the main goal for every student of specialized school, which meets high international standards by all indicators and provision. Successful mastering of knowledge, gaining of skills necessary for solving of responsible objectives, active participation in military drills and knowledge of their profession, loyalty of high military duty to serve to the Motherland have to be their sacred mission.
This is very important for the formation of the generation , which is comprehensively educated, has high morale and deserves our great ancestors, able to master any profession, take own decisions, enhance authority of the country with their work, the Head of the State said.
Continuing, the President highlighted that the 75th anniversary of the Victory, which was conquered with big work and great losses in 1941 – 1945 Great Patriotic War, was widely observed on May 9 this year.
Military parade has been organized in honour of this celebration at Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex where cadets of Specialized military school have marched with pride wearing uniform of soldiers participating in that cruel war, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
"My grandfather Berdimuhamed Annayev went to the front as a volunteer in hard year of 1941 – 1945 Great Patriotic War where tough fights were going on at that time. he thought it was his duty to be at the place where the destiny of the nation, at the battle field, have been put at stake", - the President of Turkmenistan highlighted.
Glorious way of Berdimuhamed Annayev, true patriot, brave warrior who fought heroically at the battlefields of 1941 – 1945 Great Patriotic War and who dedicated his life to teaching activity in the time of peace, is an excellent example of dedicated service to the country and people.
Example of brave ancestors is very important in upbringing of younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and in giving national moral values to them, Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted.
Following this, we glorify the names of our heroes. Names of Berdimuhamed Annayev, Alp Arslan and Soltan Sanjar have been given to specialized military schools of the Ministry of Defence in 2014 for commemoration of their military traditions, patriotism and courage.
It supports to the education of cadets who connected their lives with service to the Motherland, future defenders of homeland according to noble principles of our people, gives them feeling of unlimited love of the Motherland, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces continued.
"That is the reason I have come to your school today, which has name of my grandfather Berdimuhamed Annayev to hand over his military service documents", - the Head of the State highlighted.
"Our people bring up younger generation in the spirit of high respect and love of such sacred things as homeland, home, hearth defending it like an apple of an eye and believing that a child dedicate to family and hearth will serve selflessly to the Motherland. Being loyal to the Motherland, defending it as an apple of own eye are the sacred duties and responsible objectives of each of us", - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted.
Every year, more and more youth is willing to enter educational institutes training professional military personnel. They are dreaming to be among brave officers who defends sacred borders of the state and peaceful life of people.
Professional level and authority of the Motherland defenders are growing, the Head of Turkmenistan noted, having highlighted that special attention will continued to be paid to training of professional military personnel.
Safety of beloved Motherland is the utmost objective for us, Turkmen leader said. It was noted that provision of combat capability of National Army has been increased. Favourable social and living conditions have been made for military personnel and their families. Military legislation system has been improved as well.
Fundamental changes have been implemented in training of national military specialists. Structures of the Armed Forces of the country have been comprehensively modernized, the head of Turkmenistan stated with delight.
The Head of the State focused attention of cadets on the necessity to serve honestly their military duty. At the same time, it was also highlighted that they would have to be deserving successors of high principles of patriotism and courage, undefeatable stronghold of sovereign state.
These objectives are your sacred duties, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted, having expressed confidence that cadets would fulfil their mission with honour.
Cadets of Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized military school No.1 expressed gratitude to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country for conditions made for mastering of military skills, receiving of specialities, useful spare time.
Cadets told to the Head of the State about specifics of training process, where samples of the latest military equipment are used. It allows the students getting not only theoretical but also practical skills of operating advanced technologies.
It also has all capabilities for physical training. Organization of tournaments among the cadets stimulates them to go in for sports of highest achievements.
Having expressed gratitude to the President for fatherly care, the cadets assured the Head of Turkmenistan that they would put all efforts for successful achievement of high targets.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country gave fatherly advices to the cadets and continued the conversation with the story about brave sons of Turkmen nation, which have left big trace in the history. The President noted that national heroes have become models of homeland defenders for many generations with their exemplary courage and brave.
After, the Head of Turkmenistan has asked the cadets about their future, what they want to be, what profession to choose, about their dreams, wishes and strives.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that today, our country has all capabilities to get any profession. Innovative technologies and digital system are introduced in military and law enforcement agencies just like in all other spheres. Special attention is paid to strengthening of equipment and facility base of security forces. All of these open wide opportunities for young generation to choose profession they like.
Continuing, the President gave specific instruction for improvement of work of profile educational facilities to relative officials. The focus has been made on the necessity of making of conditions for improvement of operating skills of all military equipment. It is necessary to take necessary measures for cadets of specialized educational facilities would be aware of the achievements of military science, modern samples of combat equipment and become professionals, the Head of the State highlighted.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country noted that the Defence Ministry of Russian Federation has presented combat gun of the war time during celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. This weapon is a valuable relics.
It bears the memory waved with heroism of fearless soldiers, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, having informed on his decision to hand over this exhibit to B. Annayev Specialized military school No.1.
Continuing, the head of the State has focused on importance to practice theoretical knowledge of cadets of specialized school. Together with improvement of professional skills in relative disciplines, it is necessary to pay attention to different sport exercises and work education of cadets.
Coming back to the subject of presented documents, which reflect information about combat way of the regiment, where Berdimuhamed Annayev used to serve, and a gun, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces highlighted that their importance is in raising of spirit of cadets. This is an exemplary school for young men who dedicated their lives to military profession.
After, cadets of military school gave patriotic oath and took joint photo with the Head of the State on background of the sculpture of Berdimuhamed Annayev.
Having wished success in study, to serve selflessly to the Motherland, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said warm goodbye to the participants of event and left the place.
