The President of Turkmenistan flew over new buildings in Ashgabat and its environs

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the aspects of socio-economic development and improvement of the infrastructure of Ashgabat, as well as with the ongoing construction works Sh. Durdylyev working visit to the capital.

During the joint Cycling trip, the Vice Premier reported to the President on the large-scale work on comprehensive improvement of Ashgabat, proper care of planted trees and Park areas, as well as the implementation of instructions to modernize the road and transport infrastructure of the Turkmen capital.

The head of state once again emphasized that when preparing projects, key importance should be attached to ensuring high quality of construction of facilities, as well as environmental aspects.

It was stressed that the ongoing construction of 27 complexes and facilities should meet the trend of integrated development of the city, including landscaping of adjacent territories, modern engineering and technical support.

At the same time, the main goal is to create all conditions for citizens to engage in physical education and sports. Noting that all this is of particular importance in the context of establishing the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society, the head of state gave the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions.

Great attention should also be paid to creating new Park zones, greening the capital, and ensuring optimal conditions for comfortable recreation, the President stressed, ordering that these works be kept in the focus of special attention.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdylyev reported on the projects developed for the further socio-economic development of Ashgabat, as well as on the objects currently under construction, presenting relevant sketches and drawings.

After hearing the report and getting acquainted with the projects in detail, the Turkmen leader made comments and made a number of adjustments.

Then the head of state continued his working trip, flying a helicopter over the territory of the Eastern part of the Turkmen capital.

After examining the projects of a 200-bed sanatorium being built in the suburban village of Bagabat and the road leading to It, the President emphasized that an important requirement is to ensure the high quality of these works and complete the construction within the established time frame.

As the Turkmen leader noted, our country, which has a wide range of medical and preventive services, has all the opportunities for their further development. Therefore, the sanatorium being built in the village of Bagabat should be equipped with the latest technologies, in accordance with the latest achievements of world science, becoming one of the leading recreational centers.

As you know, today a modern health resort network has been created and operates throughout the country. Currently, medical institutions are being built at an accelerated pace in the country's regions, where the most modern methods of prevention and treatment are being introduced, which opens up new opportunities for restoring and strengthening the health of citizens, the President noted.

In the village of Bagabat, the construction of the road leading to the sanatorium under construction continues. As it was emphasized, the construction of this route should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the time. Stressing that the road must withstand the load from the flow of cargo transport, the President gave specific instructions on the quality construction of road transport infrastructure, including motorways.

At the same time, the President ordered to keep in the center of constant attention the social facilities under construction, as well as the improvement of the surrounding territories.

Again focusing on the construction of the highway leading to the sanatorium, the head of state noted the expediency of installing a stele in the center of one of the main intersections of this road, which represents a large-scale work in the field of human health protection.

Then the head of state viewed the construction works in the Northern part of the city from a helicopter, stressing the importance of creating appropriate conditions for children and adults to rest everywhere. Thus, modern swimming pools and water complexes have been built in the velayats and the capital.

Today, the water sports Center, located in the Olympic town, provides residents and guests of Ashgabat with all the opportunities for water sports. This complex is listed in the Guinness Book of records as the world's largest indoor swimming pool, built on the basis of modern technologies from environmentally friendly materials that meet the high requirements of international standards.

As it was emphasized, measures should be taken for the effective use of the constructed water complexes and comfortable spending of the summer holiday season by citizens. Speaking about this, the head of state ordered to organize work on turning the Gurtly lake located in the Northern part of Ashgabat into a picturesque natural area with appropriate conditions for recreation.

During the flight, the President also got acquainted with the construction works being carried out at the complex of motor transport enterprises and the Association of driving schools with a training center being built in the Northern part of Ashgabat.

Then the head of state inspected the 200-seat infectious diseases clinic, which is being built in the Geokdepe etrap of the Akhal velayat. This medical facility will allow proper prevention and treatment of infectious diseases if they are detected. In total, 6 departments will operate in the structure of this hospital.

After inspecting the construction sites, the President ordered to keep under constant control issues related to the completion of the construction of the hospital on time, equipping it with modern technologies and equipment.

The head of state also inspected construction sites on the territory of the Buzmeyin etrap, an important place among which is occupied by residential buildings. It was noted that the infrastructure and living conditions in them should be of the highest quality, because this is the main requirement for the urban development program.

Currently, a multi-purpose shopping center, a comprehensive school with 600 seats, thirty 4 – floors residential buildings and nine 2-storey buildings are under construction in Bezmeinsky etrap.

From the height of the flight, the Turkmen leader inspected the objects of the Koshi residential area and the 16th stage of the capital's development. The head of state stressed that the landscape of the area should be taken into account when constructing them, and the surrounding area should be properly landscaped. As it was emphasized, the priority place in the construction program should be given to social facilities.

It should be noted that the program of the 16th stage of development of the capital is planned to erect a monument to the Turkmen Alabai. It also provides for the construction of a highway with a length of more than 5.5 kilometers.

From the helicopter the President also familiarized with the works on the construction of luxury hotel "Garagum", and then ongoing in the capital, focusing on the need to improve adjacent areas, maintain cleanliness.

Currently, in this part of Ashgabat, a specialized secondary school for 720 places and a kindergarten for 320 places with in-depth study of foreign languages, as well as a fitness center and a creative center are being built at a high rate.

Then the head of state inspected the road transport structures under construction along A. Niyazov Avenue, stressing that the laying of multi-lane highways will ensure safe traffic, as well as favorable conditions for both drivers and pedestrians.

This means that special attention should be paid to the construction of ground and underground crossings and Parking lots. Currently, the extreme lanes of the road marked by a special line are intended for ambulances and fire services. This is the way it is accepted all over the world, and we need our drivers and pedestrians to learn this rule as well. Similar work should be carried out on other streets of the city, the President said.

Currently in Ashgabat the construction of the second phase of the hotel "Nusaý", the building of the Metropolitan enterprises of art carpet-making of the administrative building of the Ministry of sport and youth policy, reconstruction and construction of buildings of the faculty of Olympic sports, the Turkmen state Institute of physical culture and sports. A road tunnel and pedestrian crosswalk are being constructed at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashi and A. Niyazov avenues.

Then, from the height of the flight, the head of state inspected the construction of the International medical and aesthetic center, noting that the object should be built taking into account high quality requirements and completed in a timely manner. In the same area, multi-level Parking lots are being built at a high rate.
During a helicopter flight around the capital, the President familiarized himself with the construction of facilities in the southern part – the so-called business center of Ashgabat. Today there are built complex of buildings of the International Convention center, luxury hotels "Arkadag", administrative building of the State Commercial Bank "Türkmenbaşy", the building joint-stock commercial Bank "Senagat", Government platform, the building techniques and the monument "Bicycle".

Modern buildings that will soon appear in this part of the city will fit seamlessly into the architectural ensemble of the capital.

Focusing on the tasks of implementing the Ashgabat development program, the head of state stressed that all new buildings in the capital should harmoniously combine elements of national architecture and world innovations in this area. The main thing, the President stressed, is that all the facilities must be built efficiently and on schedule.

After completing a working trip around the capital, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take into account best practices so that the new buildings meet international standards and are equipped with the latest technology. The large-scale construction launched in the capital should be of a complex nature, the head of state stressed, giving the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
