According to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, today a meeting was held online with representatives of the UN Conference on trade and development (UNCTAD) and the International road transport Union (IRU).
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, including the Ministry of foreign Affairs, the State customs service and the state Agency "Turkmenawtoulaglary".
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Turkmenistan's cooperation with IRU and UNCTAD in the field of road transport and customs control. The issue of integrated customs information system ASYCUDA implemented in our country was considered.
Participants of the online dialogue discussed issues related to the TIR-EPD system of preliminary Declaration of international cargo and the preliminary introduction of electronic documents for registration of vehicles and goods imported into Turkmenistan and passing through its territory.
