30 containers of Turkish-made export products from the port of “Alyat” (Azerbaijan) will be delivered by sea to the port of Turkmenbashi. This is reported by the website of "Azerbaijan Railways".
These containers, among 82 others, arrived in Baku by train, which became the longest train that ever ran on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway (BTK).
The length of the train loaded with goods was 940 meters. The cargo is intended for Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Of the 82 containers, 20 remained in Azerbaijan, 30 are sent to Turkmenistan to the port of Turkmenbashi, 8 –to the port of Kuryk and 24-to the port of Aktau (Kazakhstan).
The operator of transportation on the territory of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is ADY Container LLC, a subsidiary of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC.
