Tachmyrat Dovulbayev became the winner of competitions among the top riders to be mentors of the country, held in Lebap equestrian center. He was the first to lead his mount, “Perhat”, to the finish line.
The winner was awarded a valuable prize-a car established by the Order of the President of Turkmenistan for the best senior rider in honor of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse.
Tachmyrat Dovulbayev and his dark horse “Perhat” present Dashoguz equestrian center. Skillful, well-calculated actions of the jockey, whose commands were clearly followed by the horse, allowed them to get ahead of their nearest rival by a few moments.
Horse racing is a very spectacular type of equestrian sport, a favorite of the Turkmen and since ancient times cultivated as a method of testing and developing the speed qualities of horses. It is especially interesting to watch competitions with the participation of experienced masters, since the accumulated knowledge, skills, and wisdom make them almost equal candidates for victory. And yet they have no less courage and excitement than young jockeys.
Turkmens have always emphasized the role of a mentor, who at all times has played a special role in passing on the accumulated national experience of trick riding to the younger generation of riders.
Today, the activity of mentors is also in demand, as it was many years ago. Past races with filled stands and numerous spectators once again prove this, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
