In the building of the foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan held a working meeting of representatives of the Ministry of foreign Affairs and other ministries and departments of Turkmenistan's accession to the 8th international UN documents, in particular agreements and conventions aimed at strengthening effective partnership in the transport sector, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Foreign experts and representatives of the EEC joined the meeting via video link.
The participants of the meeting noted the significance of the framework program for cooperation in the field of sustainable development between the government of Turkmenistan and The United Nations for 2021-2025, signed on March 14, 2020 in Ashgabat.
During the meeting, issues related to the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN structures in various directions were discussed.
Special emphasis was placed on the issue of sustainable transport, namely, a number of international agreements and conventions in the field of transport and cargo transportation, which are designed to influence the further effective development of trade and economic relations between the countries of the region and the world as a whole.
