President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree today appointing Haljanov Atageldy Baijanovich as permanent representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations office at Nairobi (UNON) (Republic of Kenya), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the United Nations human settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) (with residence in the city of Geneva), the information program "Watan" of Turkmen television reported.
Since 2014, Atageldy Haljanov has also been the permanent representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations office at Geneva (Swiss Confederation).
