On this day, as part of the 4th round, a match will be held in Ashgabat between the FC Altyn Asyr and FC Kopetdag. On April 20, the championship will continue in three matches: FC Nebitchi — FC Energetik, FC Merw — FC Ashgabat, FC Ahal — FC Shagadam.
All competitions under the auspices of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan were suspended on March 24. At the time of the forced pause, 3 rounds were played in the Turkmenistan Higher League. FC Kopetdag leads the standings, gaining 7 points. The team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan is one point ahead of FC Ahal.
The Turkmenistan Higher League is traditionally held in 4 rounds. It is attended by 8 clubs. From March 6 to June 12, matches of the first and second rounds will be played. Between each other, the teams will play 56 matches. The calendar of the third and fourth circle will be known later.
