"Belavia" has temporarily canceled all flights from Minsk to Ashgabat, "34travel" reports, citing the Deputy General Director of the Belarusian airline.
The reason for the changes in the schedule is a coronavirus, the newspaper notes.
"We respond to this challenge and look at what is happening. We have slightly reduced the frequency of flights to Milan, and now we have canceled flights to Ashgabat. So far, there are no other such decisions, " said Igor Cherginets, Deputy General Director of "Belavia".
The Belarusian airline "Belavia" operated a regular flight on the Minsk – Ashgabat – Minsk route once a week using Boeing 737 aircraft. Flights to the capital of Turkmenistan were carried out on Tuesdays, with a return flight on Wednesdays.
Regular flights from Ashgabat to Minsk are currently operated by “Turkmen airlines”.
