At the beginning of the year in Tokyo, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan organized a number of events dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Neutral Turkmenistan.
Specialized exhibition, the meeting in the format of "round table" and conference under the title "Neutrality – pledge of friendship" took place in the Olympic Park Komazawa. They were attended by residents of Tokyo, athletes, heads of national sports federations of Japan and representatives of the media.
The specialized exhibition allowed participants to get acquainted with the Turkmen culture, national traditions and values. The meeting of the round table was attended by the heads of national sports federations of Japan. At the conference, participants were shown a video clip and made presentations about the achievements of our country in various sectors of the national economy. The event demonstrated that the policy of positive neutrality serves as a reliable basis for mutually beneficial and equal cooperation in a wide range of areas.
Also at the end of January, a briefing was held on "Turkmenistan-the homeland of Neutrality", which was attended by representatives of the Japanese media, including "Asahi shimbun", "NHK", "Kyodo news", "Mapishi", "Sumitomo global research", "Japan-Eurasia Society".
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan told the participants about the history and significance of our country's neutrality policy, its role in strengthening international and regional security, including ensuring universal peace and progress in cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies.
The event also included an exchange of views on the development of the transport and logistics system of our country and on projects successfully implemented in this area in our country and in the region.
