The government of Turkmenistan has a new Deputy Prime Minister-curator of law enforcement agencies. They became Amanov Charymyrat Kakalyev. The decree on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the State Security Council, the press service of the head of state reported.
From 2007 to 2011, Charymyrat Amanov served as the Minister of national security. Prior to his current appointment, he headed the Institute of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Turkmenistan as a rector. A week ago, by a decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Charymyrat Amanov was awarded the special rank of Lieutenant General of the police.
