On January 20-21, the fourth meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Hungarian Commission on economic cooperation will be held in Budapest (Hungary).

The Turkmen delegation, headed by the Minister of Finance and economy of Turkmenistan Batyr Bazarov, includes Turkmen entrepreneurs-representatives of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the negotiations, a round table will be held where Turkmen businessmen engaged in agriculture, textiles, agriculture, bread products, sausage products and poultry farming will discuss possible ways of cooperation with the Hungarian side.

At the previous third meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Hungarian Commission, which was held in June 2017 in Ashgabat, specific steps were identified to strengthen cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, and the possibilities of increasing trade turnover through the creation of joint ventures and enterprises were discussed. Special attention was paid to the issue of expanding the list of exported goods from Turkmenistan to Hungary, the Business Turkmenistan website reports.
