The meeting with the eminent countryman, organized by the Committee on sports and youth policy, was attended by representatives of the trade Union Association, the sports community and the youth organization named after Makhtumkuli of Turkmenbashi.
The prestigious international tournament, which was attended by Azat Annayev, was held in the rank of the world championship in the ring of the Sports hall of Antalya. It was attended by about five thousand athletes from 70 countries in Asia, America, Africa and Europe. The team of Turkmenistan was made up of nine people – two of them won the third and fourth places, which gave them tickets to the world championship in kickboxing, which will be held in Ireland. Taking into account the scale of the competition, where most countries have fielded several times more athletes than us, our team has achieved impressive results, demonstrating enviable strong-willed qualities, excellent physical and technical training. This, it was emphasized in the congratulations to Azat Annayev, is a clear evidence of the success of the state policy in the development of mass physical culture movement and sports of the highest achievements.
Azat Annayev's colleagues proudly noted significant milestones in his sports biography. They recalled that Annayev is a multiple champion of national and international tournaments in professional kickboxing and karate, including Europe and the world, held in different years in the CIS, Greece, France, Turkey, Finland and other countries. He competed in the weight categories of 81 kg and 91 kg on the lists of different continents. On his account, intense fights with titled rivals at home and abroad, from which he under a standing ovation of the audience always came out the winner. Annayev held a series of win-win meetings with the best kickboxers of Greece, Italy, Portugal, Holland, Australia, Thailand and other countries. In his honor, more than once, the green banner of the Motherland rose above all. Azat is the 2010 world champion in kickboxing and the owner of the wrestling belt "K1" - the highest mark of distinction in this sport.
In response, Azat Annayev expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans and friends. He assured them that for him there is no greater happiness than to be among those who defend the sporting honor of his beloved Motherland, and he will do his best to ensure that his students are worthy of carrying the sporting glory of the country in the international arena.
At the end of the official part of the celebration, the ceremony of awarding the hero of the day was held. Under loud applause of the participants of the meeting, Azat Annayev was handed a valuable gift on behalf of the Union of trade unions and the Council of the youth organization named after Makhtumkuli of Turkmenbashi.
