President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree allowing relevant institutions and organizations to conclude contracts with local construction companies for the design and construction of buildings and facilities in the new administrative center of the Akhal velayat with the improvement of the adjacent territory, the press service of the head of state reported.
The decree ordered starting construction work in November 2019 and to hand over the buildings and facilities with full readiness for operation in September 2021.
The document was signed "In order to implement the Resolution of March 4, 2019 "on the construction of a new, modern administrative center of Akhal velayat".
The construction of the administrative center of Akhal on the territory of Goktepa etrap will be carried out in stages: the first stage will be implemented in 2019-2021, and the second-in 2020-2022.
