The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalif within the framework of participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
According to the source, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain highly appreciated the international initiatives of Turkmenistan and stressed the importance of the UN General ASSEMBLY resolutions adopted on the initiatives of Turkmenistan.
According to the information, the diplomats noted the need to develop bilateral relations between the two States in the context of the implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan with the King of Bahrain during his state visit to Ashgabat in March this year.
The sides also exchanged views on the expansion of political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, the information says.
