President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution to convene a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan in 2020, the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" reports.
Following the democratic principles of the Turkmen people, given the rich historical experience of their ancestors, in order to further promote and improve achieved in the epoch of power and happiness success in a broad discussion with the public of major activities of national importance, the development of the state and society on the basis of national principles of democracy, and in accordance with the Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan "About Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan", Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan decides:
1. To convene a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan in 2020 in Ashgabat.
2. The agenda of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to discuss include priority issues of public life.
3. To establish a State Commission for the organized holding of the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, reception, collection, and analysis of proposals and appeals received by it, as well as to approve its composition.
