In Istanbul on the former grounds of Ataturk airport is a Grand festival of aviation, space, and technology "Teknofest 2019", organized jointly with the Turkish technology Fund (T3) and the Ministry of industry and technology.
According to the Department of culture and tourism of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan, the festival gathered about 1 million participants from more than 100 countries. It hosts several events such as aviation exhibitions, seminars, workshops, drone Championships, competitions and concerts. People from all age groups take part in competitions on robotics, engine designs, electric vehicles and so on.
The festival will last until September 22.
