FC Altyn Asyr lost in the first match as part of the 2019 AFC Cup Inter-zonal Semi-final against FC Hanoi.
In the 4th minute, the score in the match was opened by forward Murad Yakshiyev, assisted by Myrat Annayev. Four minutes before the end of the first half after a free kick FC Hanoi midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai equalized the score in the match. At the 61st minute, Nguyen Quang Hai scored a double, putting the ball into the goal with jewelry - 2:1. After a goal conceded, FC Altyn Asyr turned on increased speeds and already in the 64th minute Altymyrat Annadurdyev equalized the score - 2:2. FC Hanoi continued to escalate and in the 88th minute of the match, after a penalty, the substitute captain Nguyen Van Quyet scored the third goal.
The second match will take place on August 27 at the Kopetdag Stadium in Ashgabat. The match starts at 17:00.
The winner of the two meetings will play in the Inter-zone final of the 2019 AFC Cup with the winner of the pair Abahani Limited (Bangladesh) - April 25 (DPRK).
