Turkmenistan again got into the Guinness Book of records. The appropriate certificate for the "Largest lesson of ecology", hosted by the Government of Turkmenistan in Turkmenbashy city, presented at the plenary session in the framework of the first Caspian economic forum in the Avaza representative of "Guinness World Records" Ms. Seyda Subasi-Gemici.

On August 8, a unique event was held in the city of Turkmenbashy – a lesson on ecology organized by the Government of Turkmenistan, which was attended by three thousand people. Three conditions had to be met to set the record. This is an experienced lecturer in the field of ecology, continuous presence of all registered participants in the hall and the duration of the lesson is more than 30 minutes. Upon its completion, the students passed the test. As a result, the team of the Guinness Book of records during the lesson did not record violations of the rules and registered this event as the most massive event of ecological and educational orientation in the world.

Presenting the certificate of the Guinness Book of records in a solemn atmosphere to the applause of the audience, Ms. Seyda Subasi-Gemici noted that the world community fully welcomes the initiatives of Turkmenistan in the field of ecology.

This is not the first environmental action in Turkmenistan since the beginning of the year, listed in the Guinness Book of records. On June 1, a new world record was set in the Olympic town of Ashgabat – the longest Cycling parade on one line.  It was attended by a record number of cyclists – 2019 people, symbolizing the current year. The athletes lined up in a row at a certain distance from each other and rode around the Olympic town on bicycles, breaking the distance of 3,300 m.

And on June 28 this year, the Guinness Book of records certificate was awarded to the new gas processing complex in Ovadan depe as "the world's First plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas."
