Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is on a visit to Turkmenistan

On the eve, a representative delegation of the Republic of Bulgaria headed by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi, the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

According to the information, today Boyko Borisov took part in the opening ceremony of the international Caspian exhibition of innovative technologies, as well as the exhibition of the automotive industry "Türkmen sährasy 2019", where he personally got acquainted with the novelties of the modern automotive industry.   

During the visit, a bilateral meeting of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is planned.

A meeting of the delegations of Turkmenistan and Bulgaria in an expanded format and the signing of a solid package of documents are also planned.

On August 12, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will take part in the conference "the Caspian sea: the benefits of strengthening international economic cooperation", as part of the opening ceremony of the Forum.  The high-ranking guest will also take part in cultural events and celebrations dedicated to the First Caspian economic forum.

It is important to note that this Forum will be an effective platform for negotiations between representatives of the delegations of the two countries. Thus, it is planned to hold a round table for representatives of business circles of Bulgaria and Turkmenistan.  In addition, a regular meeting of the Turkmen-Bulgarian intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation will be held, during which the parties will discuss in detail the current issues of mutually beneficial partnership, in particular in the field of energy, medical industry, transport, education, and science.
