A meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Turkmenistan Peter Sante, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit, was held today at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the official website of the UIE reports.
The chairman of the UIE focused the attention of the Ambassador of Hungary on the implementation of large investment projects by Turkmen entrepreneurs, as well as successes in the production of building materials, in the food industry, the development of horticulture, livestock and poultry farming. At the meeting, it was emphasized that measures taken in Turkmenistan to support the non-state sector of the economy contribute to the development of the export potential of representatives of private business, the organization of joint ventures and interaction with foreign colleagues.
Peter Sante noted the stability of the Turkmen economy, the attractiveness of the investment climate created in Turkmenistan and the enormous potential for the development of the Turkmen-Hungarian mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. The Ambassador also spoke in favor of establishing productive contacts between the business circles of the two countries, to which he intends to fully contribute. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for expanding interaction, taking into account the establishment of direct contacts.
