Under the leadership of the Russian specialist Makhty Makkaev the men's and women's national teams of Turkmenistan will take part in the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Ningbo (China), which will be held from April 18 to April 28, 2019. The Asian Championship gives the highest points in the selection for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
According to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, our team will be represented by 16 athletes and 4 coaches, the list of which is presented below.
