Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov concluded his state visit to Kazakhstan and returned to Ashgabat, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.
During the visit on November 24-25, talks were held between Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in both narrow and expanded formats. Following the meeting, a large package of bilateral documents was signed.
Tokayev awarded the head of Turkmenistan with Kazakhstan's highest state award, the Order of the Golden Eagle, for his contribution to strengthening friendly relations, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership between the two countries, the comprehensive development of interstate ties, and the rapprochement of fraternal peoples.
During his visit, Serdar Berdimuhamedov also visited the Alem.AI international artificial intelligence center in Astana.
Following his visit, the President of Turkmenistan departed from Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport for Ashgabat, where he was met by government officials.
