The concert "Turkmenistan – Land of Friendship and Brotherhood" was held at the State Drama Theater of the Balkan velayat in the city of Balkanabat. It became a symbol of the friendly relations between the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples.
A delegation of cultural and artistic professionals from the Mangystau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the concert. The guests were greeted with bread and salt, songs, and music. Participants in the celebration viewed the exhibition displayed in the theater building.
Opening the concert, the speakers noted the traditionally friendly nature of relations between the Turkmen and Kazakh peoples and discussed the existing prospects for their further development.
This was followed by song and music performances by masters of the arts from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
The concert "Turkmenistan – Land of Friendship and Brotherhood" also took place at the cultural and sports complex of the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex of the Türkmennebit State Concern. An exhibition dedicated to the economic development and culture of the two countries was organized as part of the event, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
