A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Finance Minister B. Yalakov and Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Mukhammedov, participated in the CAREC 2025 Business Forum and the 24th Ministerial Conference of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, "Green and Digital CAREC," held in Bishkek on November 18-20. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening regional economic cooperation, promoting sustainable development, and expanding cooperation in digital modernization. The Turkmen delegation supported the updated CAREC strategic documents, which cover priority areas of cooperation in transport, trade, digital, and social sectors.

Following the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the CAREC Digital Corridor and the Bishkek Ministerial Declaration on the commencement of negotiations on the CAREC Trade and Investment Facilitation Partnership Agreement (CARTIF) were signed.
