A new monument to Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was unveiled in France. The ceremony took place on November 20 at the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center in Paris, TASS reports.
The unveiling of the monument was led by Russian Ambassador to France Alexei Meshkov, along with the poet's direct great-great-grandson, Alexander Pushkin, and his wife, Maria Alexandrovna, who came from Belgium.
The monument was designed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Alexander Taratynov.
