Students and faculty from the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas participated in a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the "Lu Ban Workshop," which was held at the Nimbo Polytechnic University (People's Republic of China).
According to the Nebit-Gaz newspaper, representatives from the Republics of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, and Belarus also took part in the conference.
The week-long conference focused on the potential of the Lu Ban Workshop, an international professional education project. Established in China in 2016, the project aims to enhance the qualifications of specialists, utilize and implement advanced technologies, strengthen international cooperation, enhance their professional skills, and enrich and strengthen them with new ideas and research.
The Lu Ban Workshop project will also be implemented at the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas. Major renovations to the Workshop building are currently underway with the support of the “Turkmengaz” State Concern.
This project, which will be implemented in Turkmenistan for the first time, will focus on areas such as oil and gas production and technology, information technology, and oil and gas transportation, the source notes.
