The OSCE Centre in Ashgabat organized a seminar on the implementation of energy-efficient technologies for students and faculty of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan in Mary on November 13-14, the organization's press service reported.
Approximately 35 people participated in the seminar. The event was held in a hybrid format with online participation by international experts.
"The promotion of modern energy-efficient technologies in Turkmenistan contributes to increased economic resilience and reduced environmental vulnerability," said Olivera Zurowack-Kuzman, Head of the Economic and Environmental Department at the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat.
According to her, the center promotes the exchange of international experience and advanced technologies, offering national partners new opportunities to ensure sustainable growth.
Participants discussed global trends in energy efficiency, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Particular attention was paid to the use of solar-hydrogen panels, energy storage systems, and the integration of renewable energy sources.
The event was held in support of the implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Renewable Energy in Turkmenistan until 2030 and the Law on Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency, the press service added.
