The Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will be held on November 15-16 in Tashkent under the chairmanship of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Uzbek leader's press service reported.
The summit will be attended by the Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kakha Imnadze.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia and implementing joint projects in priority areas. The leaders will exchange views on current regional and international policy issues.
Following the summit, a package of multilateral documents is expected to be adopted.
