Today, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to Turkmenistan, Seydou Zatou Ali. This was reported on the Mejlis website.
The diplomat was informed about the main directions of Turkmenistan's domestic and peaceful foreign policy, as well as about the activities of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the wide opportunities for exchanging experiences in improving national legislation and parliamentary activities, exploring the potential for cooperation between the two countries, and strengthening friendly relations between their peoples.
The Nigerian ambassador assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen interstate cooperation based on the principles of equality and mutual respect.
