South Korean company Samsung plans to unveil a smartphone with three foldable screens on December 5, 2025, Yonhap news agency reported, citing sources.

According to the publication, the device will initially go on sale in China, Singapore, and the UAE. The smartphone is expected to cost between 2000 USD and 2700 USD, equivalent to approximately 163 – 220 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate.

The Chosun Daily reports that the new device may be called the Galaxy Z TriFold. It will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of approximately 5600 mAh. The smartphone will be 4,2 mm thick when unfolded and 14 mm thick when folded. The screen size will range from 6,5 inches when folded to 10 inches when fully unfolded.

According to The Chosun Daily, the first batch of shipments will be between 20 thousand and 30 thousand units, and the price of the device may reach ,4 million won (about 3000 USD).

The release of the new Samsung smartphone will be a response to the initiative of the Chinese company Huawei, which presented its triple-screen smartphone Mate XT in September 2024, and showed its updated version a year later.
