The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan organized a conference at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNAIU) in Almaty.
The conference was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.
A presentation on the results of the September 19 meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held in the university assembly hall with the participation of Turkmen students studying in Almaty. The significance of the adopted Constitutional Law "On the Legal Foundations of the Peace and Trust Policy of Neutral Turkmenistan" was also discussed. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Special attention was given to events commemorating the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
A video about Turkmenistan's achievements since independence was shown during the conference.
Turkmen and Kazakh students jointly performed the national dance "Kushtdepdi," which symbolizes friendship and cultural interaction.
Following this, a representative of the Turkmen diplomatic mission and university leadership held a business meeting to discuss current issues related to the education and support of Turkmen students, the source noted.
