Starting in 2026, the road tax on gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas in Azerbaijan will increase from 0,02 to 0,07 manat per liter. The new rate will apply to both locally produced fuels sold wholesale within the country and imported products, apa.az reports.
The relevant amendments to the Tax Code were considered at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship.
The increase in the tax rate will affect all three types of motor fuel, without exceptions based on the origin of the product.
