Two representatives from Turkmenistan won prizes at the International Youth Arts Festival THE PLANET OF ART – 2025 in Almaty. Ylham Orazmammedov won the instrumental prize, and Aishat Rejepova won the choreography prize. Both participants represented the Specialized Music Boarding School at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.
A total of 40 young artists from 18 countries received awards. The festival was held under the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations. Thousands of performers aged 12 to 18 from UNESCO Member States participated in the selection round.
The finalists gathered in Almaty to participate in an intensive educational and cultural program with the support of leading educators and prominent Kazakh artists.
A distinctive feature of THE PLANET OF ART – 2025 was the return to the tradition of accompanying the gala concert with a live symphony orchestra. The concert combined world musical culture and works by national composers in a unified theatrical program.
The project was implemented as part of the promotion of the "Pact for the Future," adopted by the UN General Assembly in September 2024. The festival is organized with the support of the Ministries of Culture and Information, as well as Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and other government and international partners.
