Yesterday, representatives of the Ministry of Automobile Transport of Turkmenistan and the Japanese companies Sumitomo Corporation and Toyota Central Asia met at a roundtable discussion held via videoconference.
The topic of the meeting was “Opportunities for cooperation with Japanese companies in the field of automotive equipment supplies.”
The parties noted the previously established cooperation between the Ministry of Road Transport of Turkmenistan and Sumitomo Corporation in the supply of taxis and other public transport vehicles, as well as the importance of further strengthening this relationship for mutual benefit.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on potential future projects.
In conclusion, representatives of Japanese companies were invited to actively participate in the International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development-2025," which will be held in Ashgabat on November 26-27, according to the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.
