From October 20 to 24, the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST) conducted large-scale exercises on emergency management and coordination of emergency services in the Dashoguz velayat.
All five branches of the NRCST, including staff and volunteers, participated in the events. International partners from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) joined the exercise: Regional Delegate for Restoring Family Links Anna Berhe-Wallet and Head of Mission Mikhail Rakhmanov.

The main objective of the exercise was to practice emergency response, ensure coordination between units, and organize humanitarian aid to the affected population. During the event, assembly points were established to mobilize personnel, necessary resources were prepared, and a simulation exercise was conducted in a simulated disaster zone.
The exercise involved local governments and organizations responsible for disaster response. Participants demonstrated a high level of operational efficiency and preparedness for field operations.

Following the events, the NRCST leadership analyzed the effectiveness of the actions and identified areas for improving the response system, training volunteers, and expanding the organization's material and technical resources.
