On October 22, the 30th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2025" will open in Ashgabat. It will bring together more than 1400 delegates from 70 countries and over 100 exhibiting companies. Distinguished guests include high-ranking government officials and the world's largest energy corporations.
The official opening of the conference will be held by Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, who oversees the oil and gas sector. His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Chairman of Dragon Oil, who leads the UAE delegation, will deliver the keynote address on the topic "Strong Partnership: Respecting the Past, Strengthening the Future."
The event is held under the theme "Shaping the Future of Global Energy in the International Year of Peace and Trust – Innovation, Energy Transition, and Strategic Cooperation," reflecting the country's commitment to developing sustainable energy and strengthening international ties.
Participants in the opening ceremony included Uzbekistan's Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Azerbaijan's Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov, International Gas Union President Andrea Stegher, S&P Global Vice Chairman Dr. Daniel Yergin, and representatives of PETRONAS and Global Gas Centre.
