Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Malaysia and Uganda, Mohamad Hassan and Jeje Odongo. The Turkmen Foreign Ministry's press service reported this on Friday.
During his conversation with his Malaysian counterpart, Meredov reportedly discussed bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. The foreign ministers also discussed the two countries' interactions within regional and international structures.
In a conversation with the Ugandan Foreign Minister, the Turkmen diplomat discussed the current state and prospects for developing the bilateral partnership. The parties discussed cooperation in international formats, primarily within the UN.
Particular attention in both conversations was paid to preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will take place on December 12 in Ashgabat.
