The Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) noted the dynamic development of tennis in Turkmenistan and thanked the country's leadership for its support of the Olympic sport. This was announced following the ATF's annual General Assembly in Almaty, according to the online newspaper "Golden Age."
Representatives from 36 member countries of the organization participated in the event. Turkmenistan was represented by ATF Vice President and Chairman of the Turkmenistan Tennis Federation, Eziz Dovletov.
Forum participants highly praised the organization of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level 2 regional coaching seminar, held in August in Ashgabat at the Tennis Toplumy Asian Region Training and Education Center. The Turkmen complex received its ITF certification as a regional center in June 2024.

The ATF leadership also noted the successful performances of Turkmen tennis players in international tournaments, including the Asian Championships for players under 12 and 14 years old and the competition for the Billie Jean King Cup.
From October 17 to 19, the Tennis Drives – Fitness Support training seminar will be held in Almaty as part of the ATP 250 tournament. Turkmen coaches will participate, and leading ITF specialists will serve as lecturers, including world-class fitness coach Dario Novak, who has worked with Elena Rybakina and Stan Wawrinka.
