In the capital of Turkmenistan, reconstruction work has been completed on a section of Gorogly street from the intersection with Bekreve street to the turn onto Taslama street. The renovated road was put into operation on September 1.
During the reconstruction, the street was significantly widened to improve traffic capacity in this area of the city.
Within the framework of the project, an additional underground passage was built next to the new International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which also opened on this section of the road. The underground passage ensures safe movement of students, teachers and residents of the area.
The project included a complete renovation of bus stops and the installation of modern barriers separating pedestrian crossings from the roadway. These measures are aimed at improving road safety.
Also, within the framework of the reconstruction, the parking lot of the Şehitler Mosque was expanded and an additional street was created in front of the mosque for more convenient entry and exit of visitors to the mosque.
In the near future, a new Dental Center is preparing to open in the area, which will further increase the social significance of the updated section of the city infrastructure.
