On April 16, the international scientific and practical conference "Innovative Development of Medical Science and Education" began its work in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.

Leading experts from China, Germany, Russia, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, India, Korea and Turkmenistan are taking part in the conference.

On the first day of the conference, a grand opening and plenary session took place, where the rector of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan, Nargozel Myratnazarova, delivered a welcoming speech. Leading foreign experts also made presentations on topical issues of modern medicine.

The conference is organized into four thematic sections: "New technologies in diagnostics and treatment of non-communicable diseases", "Innovative technologies - a guarantee of the development of medical science", "Scientific foundations of the production of new drugs and natural products" and "The role of new technologies in improving the education system".

The conference program also includes master classes from famous foreign experts and a cultural program for participants. On April 17, the conference will continue in sections, and the event will end with a closing ceremony.
