The head coach of the Turkmen “Altyn Asyr”, Yazkuli Hojageldyev, held a pre-match press conference on the eve of the meeting with the Saudi “Al-Taawun” in the 4th round of the AFC Champions League-2.
According to the coach, the tournament was an excellent school for his young team, which was significantly updated last season. “Despite the fact that we are participating for the first time, I am pleased that with each game the team is acting more confidently, the quality of the game is improving”, - noted Hojageldyev.
The team is determined for the upcoming match, although they will not be able to count on two players - Ruslan Tadzhiev and Dovlet Mirsultanov, who are missing the game due to disqualification. The coach acknowledged the high level of the opponent, noting the large number of legionnaires in the “Al-Taawun” squad.
The team's forward Rakhman Muratberdyev assured that the team is fully prepared for the match and intends to “fight for the country and the fans”.
The match will take place today at the “Ashgabat” stadium, the start of the meeting is at 19:00 local time.
