As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the motorcade of the leader of Mongolia, accompanied by an honorary escort of motorcyclists, proceeded to the Presidential Palace Complex named after Oguzhan. From the intersection of Turkmenbashy-Galkynysh streets, the motorcade of the President of Mongolia was accompanied by an honorary escort of horsemen.

At the central entrance to the Palace Complex, the head of Turkmenistan warmly and cordially welcomed the distinguished guest.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Ashgabat will become a historic milestone in the further expansion of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and peoples. Turkmenistan's focus on the consistent development of cooperation with Mongolia in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and close interaction within the framework of major international organizations was noted.

The head of Turkmenistan also expressed confidence that during this visit a wide range of issues will be considered and the main areas of cooperation will be identified, taking into account the long-term prospects for the development of bilateral relations.

The Mongolian leader noted the great potential for the development of interstate dialogue, which is invariably mutually respectful and constructive and fully meets the interests of the two friendly peoples.

The negotiations then continued in the “Soltan Sanjar” hall in an expanded format - with the participation of members of the official delegations of the two countries.

During the negotiations, which took place in a warm, trusting atmosphere, the interlocutors discussed current issues of Turkmen-Mongolian relations, which are being brought to a qualitatively new level of development today by the efforts of the parties.

At the end of the talks, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.
