Today in the afternoon, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit. The distinguished guest was met at the Ashgabat International Airport by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and other officials.
According to the ISNA news agency, during his visit, the President of Iran will attend and speak at the international forum «Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development» dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.
As the source notes, during the visit, the distinguished guest will hold talks with the President of Turkmenistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and heads of foreign states participating in the forum.
