National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the joint-stock company “CLAAS” and the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Katrina Claas-Mühlhäuser to discuss the prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Katrina Claas-Mühlhäuser congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and expressed pride in the long-standing partnership between “CLAAS” and Turkmenistan. She emphasized the interest in strengthening productive business ties.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the visit of Claas-Mühlhäuser will be an important step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany, and will also give new impetus to the activities of the “CLAAS” company in the Turkmen market. He emphasized that Turkmenistan and Germany fruitfully cooperate in various fields, including political and diplomatic, trade and economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the further successful development of bilateral cooperation based on the principles of mutual benefit and long-term sustainability.
